fuckin shock.....
I know......
but when I say I don't like weddings, I mean those long, tedious, dull ones.
the weddings by numbers.
big white dress, tick.
bad suits for the men, tick.
dated hotel, tick.
guest list of long-lost cousins, great-uncles and Jake and his oh who you haven't seen since school but bumped into at a gig a fortnight ago and accidentally invited after too many vodkas, tick.
a top table with twee place settings, tick.
food that Wetherspoons would proud of, tick.
(although tbf, their breakfast is banging value for money)
a bad DJ with the microphone muffles, tick.
and soooooo many bad pairs of shoes, tick.
oh and maybe a fight at the end.
(is that still a thing?)
weddings without any heart and soul or difference whatsoever.
and if that's your vibe, then that's absolutely fine by me. But it's not my vibe....
when I started my journey into being a wedding photographer, I knew it would crush my soul to have to shoot the stereotypical traditional wedding.
All. That. Waiting. Around... argh.
All. That. Conforming.
and expectation.
and group shots. Just no.
and what, I have to wear a tie too? No thanks.
(I don't even own a tie).
I wanted to be a cool wedding photographer.
one who is different.
who doesn't conform.
a rebel.
who gives you not just pictures, but art.
cos, you know, these pictures need to last a lifetime eh?
if i'm gonna be working weekends, then I want to be hanging out with my tribe.
so, if you're planning the anti-dote to the traditional wedding above,
if it's full of heart, soul and chaos,
if you're doing things your way,
whether that's an alternative wedding, quirky wedding, indie wedding, little wedding, lgbtiqa+ wedding, goth wedding or an elopement,
then you're gonna need a cool wedding photographer.
hit the let's talk page to get in touch.
and let's re-write the wedding rule book.
come join the rebels.....
